Elvis Impersonators In The News

Elvis had such a unique and distinctive presentation style that he has become a popular character to impersonate. There are thousands of Elvis impersonators.

It’s partly his singing voice and the songs he made popular, partly his trademark hip moves and partly how he dressed - but all round it is the magic of the whole package that set the fans alight. Impersonators seek to achieve the same effect today, and many of the Elvis impersonators do a pretty good job, to the pleasure of Elvis fans.

Impersonating Elvis Presley is both a business and a hobby for some, and there seems to be an endless list of talent quests where Elvis impersonators pop up. Here is some of the latest news on Elvis impersonators.

With such a huge fan following for Elvis, it is inevitable that a thriving business has developed in Elvis Presley memorabilia and collectibles.

The Presley family runs a licensing and branding business built around this voracious demand for merchandise and souvenirs.

There seems to always be something new coming out with Elvis as the theme or brand, to meet the continuing insatiable demand of Elvis fans to own something linked to their rock idol.

Graceland As An Elvis Presley Memorial

Elvis Presley’s family mansion in Memphis, Graceland, remains today as a focal point for remembering Elvis.

It is also where Elvis lies buried.

Fans visit Graceland, almost as if on a pilgrimage.

It is as if Graceland is Elvis’ memorial, and is constantly in the news in some way or another, not least because it is also the focal point for a thriving family business in Elvis memorabilia and licensing.
